TinyThinkys ("we", "our", or "the app") is built with one guiding principle: low friction, low cognitive load. That extends to your data too. We do not collect, store, or sell any personal information. This policy explains exactly what happens when you use the app.

1. Data We Do Not Collect

TinyThinkys does not collect:

• Your name, email address, or any account information
• The content of your tasks or notes
• Your location
• Your contacts, photos, or any other device data

All tasks you create are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework and never leave your device through our systems.

2. Analytics — Firebase (Google)

We use Firebase Analytics (provided by Google) to understand how the app is used in aggregate. This helps us improve features and fix issues.

The events we log are anonymous and contain no personal information:

• Task created (when of day, energy level, focus duration)
• Task completed or uncompleted
• Focus session started, completed, or ended early
• Ambient sound selected
• Settings screen opened
• Reminder notification toggled on or off

None of these events are tied to an identifiable user. Firebase Analytics may collect device identifiers and usage data as described in Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy

You can opt out of analytics tracking at any time through Settings → Privacy → Tracking on your iPhone.

3. Advertising — Google AdMob

TinyThinkys is free and supported by ads. We use Google AdMob to display banner and interstitial advertisements within the app.

Google may use your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) and other signals to serve relevant ads. No personally identifiable information is shared with advertisers by us.

You can limit ad tracking through Settings → Privacy → Tracking on your device, or by resetting your advertising identifier in Settings → Privacy → Apple Advertising.

4. Weather Information

The home screen displays a weather chip for ambient context. Weather data is fetched from a public weather service using your approximate location (city-level only). Your precise GPS location is never accessed or stored. The app will request location permission only if needed; you may deny this permission and the weather chip will not be shown.

5. Notifications

TinyThinkys may request permission to send local notifications as daily reminders. These notifications are scheduled entirely on your device and no data is sent to any server. You can disable notifications at any time in your device Settings.

6. Children's Privacy

TinyThinkys is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us and we will take steps to remove it.

7. Third-Party Services

The app integrates the following third-party SDKs:

• Firebase Analytics (Google LLC) — Privacy Policy
• Google AdMob (Google LLC) — Privacy Policy

We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these services, as their data practices are governed by their own terms.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

All task data is stored locally on your device. Deleting the app removes all locally stored data immediately. Anonymous analytics events are retained by Firebase according to Google's standard retention policies.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
